Bakers S.A. Limited is a 100% black-owned company, with 150% value-added procurement recognition. The company has been awarded a level 2 BBBEE status. Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment is measured using seven pillars, each with a relative weighting, with preferential procurement contributing 20% of the total score of 100%. This is particularly valuable to many of our customers, as procurement spend in logistics is a significant percentage of the annual turnover for many businesses.
